You will own core infrastructure for experiment orchestration, agent connectivity, and coordination across software and physical systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild systems to schedule and coordinate experiments across distributed laboratory environments.\n\nConnect AI agents to experiments and instruments through reliable infrastructure.\n\nDevelop data systems that capture system state, actions, measurements, failures, and provenance.\n\nDesign distributed systems that coordinate software, devices, and experiments reliably.\n\nCreate developer tools and APIs for new workflows and integrations.\n\nDebug and optimize across software, hardware, and physical systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of experience building production-grade software systems end to end.\n\nStrong proficiency in Python or Rust, with solid engineering fundamentals.\n\nExperience designing distributed systems, APIs, networking, and asynchronous communication patterns.\n\nExperience building software at an early-stage startup and taking ownership in an ambiguous environment.\n\nBackground in robotics, physical AI, hardware integration, lab automation, embedded systems, AI agents, or ML infrastructure is valuable.\n\nAbility to integrate and debug across hardware, firmware, and software layers.\n\nBiology experience is not required.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $100,000 to $250,000 USD annually.
