This role spans the full stack, with a strong emphasis on scalable backend infrastructure, reliable data synchronization, and high-throughput AI workloads.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a focus on seamless user experience.\n\nDesign and implement robust backend systems capable of handling millions of API requests and terabytes of client data.\n\nTake end-to-end ownership of features from concept through deployment and ongoing operation.\n\nDebug production incidents, identify root causes, and deliver durable fixes.\n\nMentor junior engineers and raise code quality through thorough, constructive reviews.\n\nSynchronize and index large client datasets with fine-grained permission management.\n\nOperate and optimize systems that process millions of LLM calls per month.\n\nArchitect environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.\n\nBuild foundational infrastructure to accelerate custom integrations for new systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including production work across the full stack.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL in production environments.\n\nSolid backend engineering background, including Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed, high-throughput services.\n\nDemonstrated experience building scalable, secure, and reliable backend services at data or API scale.\n\nEnd-to-end product ownership with a genuine focus on user experience and long-term quality.\n\nExperience mentoring junior engineers and conducting constructive code reviews.\n\nExperience with AI service integrations, or a strong interest in AI-integrated platforms.\n\nBased in Munich, Germany (no visa sponsorship available).\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: 60,000 to 80,000 EUR annually.
