As a senior engineer on a small, fast-moving team, you will own core systems across the stack - from cloud infrastructure and AI copilot features to real-time collaboration and physics-based simulation. You will help set the technical direction of the product as it scales.\nWhat You'll Do\nArchitect application infrastructure spanning the cloud ecosystem, AI copilot, and physics simulation backend.\n\nLead development of major features end to end - from architecture and implementation through deployment and sustainment.\n\nCollaborate closely with the product team to identify and deliver the capabilities customers need most.\n\nDefine and uphold technical standards and long-term system architecture as the product and team grow.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\n5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of production systems or large-scale features.\n\nDeep expertise in at least one layer of the stack - frontend frameworks, real-time collaboration, or AI/ML systems.\n\nProficiency with modern tools including React, TypeScript, and Python.\n\nStrong product intuition and a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.\n\nExperience with physics-based modeling and simulation systems.\n\nAbility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\n\nNice to Have\nBackground in hardware engineering tooling, CAD/ECAD platforms, or aerospace and defense software.\n\nExperience building security-compliant SaaS products (e.g., GovCloud, ITAR, CUI environments).\n\nFamiliarity with real-time collaborative editing architectures (e.g., CRDTs, OT).\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: $120,000 - $170,000 USD annually, depending on experience.\n\nEquity participation in a seed-stage company with significant growth potential.\n\nSmall team environment with high autonomy and direct impact on product direction.\n\nLocation\nThis role is on-site in New York, NY.
