You will work directly with product leadership, making real tradeoffs on the fly and shipping user-facing improvements quickly, with no large team buffer between you and the product.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn app features end-to-end across iOS, watchOS, and Mac, working directly with product leadership and without a fully-specified backlog.\n\nShip user-facing improvements that address real issues surfaced from early product use, including wearable interaction reliability and cross-platform feature detection.\n\nMove fluidly between UX, UI, backend, and AI/ML depending on what each feature needs, making scope and design tradeoffs independently.\n\nIntegrate agent and LLM-based features, including tool use, memory, and retrieval, into the consumer app experience.\n\nCollaborate with a specialist engineer on shared backend and pipeline surfaces.\n\nTake features from design through ship through iteration based on real user feedback, without waiting for the next instruction.\n\nWork across time zones with an Asia-based R&D, hardware, and supply-chain team.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3 or more years shipping consumer product features end-to-end across at least two of: mobile, desktop, wearable, or backend.\n\nProficiency in Swift/SwiftUI for iOS and watchOS, with shipped apps to show for it.\n\nProficiency with TypeScript, React, and Electron for Mac/desktop client development.\n\nGenuine, demonstrated capability across UX, UI, backend, and AI/ML, not deep in one area and dabbling in the rest.\n\nHands-on experience building and integrating agent/LLM-based features into production consumer apps.\n\nExperience as one of the first engineers at an early-stage or pre-launch startup, shipping with minimal specification.\n\nBackend experience building shared services and APIs that power multiple client surfaces.\n\nA strong ownership mindset: you make the call, then implement it directly rather than handing off.\n\nAbility to work hybrid three days per week in the San Francisco Bay Area.\n\nNice to have: experience with real-time or streaming systems such as audio processing or live data pipelines.\n\nNice to have: prior work at an AI-native consumer app or hardware-adjacent startup.\n\nNice to have: experience with wearable devices, hardware, or robotics product development.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $150,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Equity offered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.\nLocation\nHybrid, three days per week in the office. Primary location: San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2777,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T17:34:01Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-29T21:21:34Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/clera-product-engineer-26","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/clera-product-engineer-26.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T01:29:39Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1530,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3470,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
