This role combines product strategy, design, and full-stack engineering, with direct ownership of product quality and user outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nDefine product positioning, scope features, and identify the smallest complete version to build.\n\nDesign consumer experiences, including onboarding flows, interfaces, and product copy.\n\nBuild frontend and backend systems using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.\n\nImplement APIs, SQL data models, authentication, payments, and subscriptions.\n\nSet up analytics, experimentation, and production monitoring to measure engagement and retention.\n\nDeploy products, debug production issues, and maintain reliable core functionality.\n\nUse user feedback and retention data to guide iteration and product decisions.\n\nShip polished MVPs or substantial product iterations in approximately 3 to 7 days.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of experience shipping consumer products end-to-end, including independently launching a live product used by real users.\n\nStartup founding or early product engineering experience, with ownership across product decisions, design, and implementation.\n\nStrong production experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, SQL databases, and data modeling.\n\nExperience implementing authentication, payments, and subscriptions, and deploying and debugging production applications.\n\nExperience designing consumer interfaces and using analytics and experiments to understand engagement and retention.\n\nComfort using AI development tools while maintaining sound architectural judgment and code quality.\n\nConsumer apps, social or communication products, and cross-platform development are valuable; experience with tools such as PostHog, React Native, Electron, Flutter, WebRTC, or real-time audio and video is a plus.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $200,000 to $350,000 USD annually.
