You will focus primarily on frontend development, creating interfaces that bring enterprise data and operational workflows together for use on factory floors.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild interfaces for manufacturing applications and the platform they run within.\n\nOwn frontend systems and make architectural decisions that support consistency, maintainability, and scale.\n\nUse AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality and thoughtful design.\n\nCreate reusable components, patterns, conventions, and tooling for engineers and AI agents.\n\nWork with engineers and customers to understand needs and improve solutions.\n\nDevelop complex interfaces, including data grids, graphs, editors, workflows, and real-time state.\n\nIdentify and improve confusing, inconsistent, or unfinished user experiences.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nA master's degree with internship experience, or 3 to 5 years of professional experience.\n\nProduction frontend experience, with at least 70 to 80% of your engineering work focused on frontend.\n\nExperience using AI as an engineering tool to improve development velocity and output quality.\n\nStrong frontend architecture judgment and the ability to turn recurring UI needs into reusable patterns.\n\nCare for usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.\n\nFamiliarity with TypeScript, React, or Next.js is helpful.\n\nExperience with design systems, component libraries, Storybook, testing tools, SDKs, developer platforms, embedded applications, or microfrontends is a plus.\n\nBackend, design, or product experience alongside frontend work is beneficial.\n\nLocation\nHybrid role based in Munich, Germany, with at least one week per month on-site.
