You will build and operate customer-facing features, working across backend systems, product analytics, and production releases.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild product features end to end, including domain models, business logic, and API integrations.\n\nDeliver and iterate on product work through incremental releases guided by data and product milestones.\n\nUse SQL and analytics tools to evaluate product and system performance.\n\nDebug complex state machines in event-driven systems to support a reliable customer experience.\n\nShip through CI/CD, own implementations in production, and respond to incidents as needed.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of experience building backend features end to end for production systems, including meaningful early-stage startup experience.\n\nProficiency designing and consuming REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.\n\nExperience with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka or Pub/Sub, and debugging distributed systems.\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.\n\nHands-on experience with CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and code review.\n\nExperience writing SQL and using analytics tools to assess product and system performance.\n\nExperience building consumer-facing products and strong computer science fundamentals.\n\nGo experience on GCP is valuable, as is experience in fintech or other data-intensive, high-velocity environments.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompensation is $120,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.\nLocation\nOn-site in San Francisco, California.
