You will have meaningful ownership over the Android experience and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ship features that directly affect user happiness.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, implement, and maintain a production-grade consumer Android application used by a growing base of real users.\n\nContribute to platform-level architecture and help scale core app infrastructure.\n\nSolve engineering challenges pragmatically, balancing quality with speed in a startup environment.\n\nPartner with product and design to shape the direction of new features and user experiences.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to align on clear objectives.\n\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the mobile team.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 5 years of professional mobile app development experience, with 2 or more years shipping production Android applications.\n\nStrong Kotlin expertise, with hands-on experience using Jetpack Compose and modern app architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.\n\nExperience integrating Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.\n\nFamiliarity with backend data formats and APIs common in mobile development, including protobufs, REST, and gRPC.\n\nProficiency with Android testing strategies covering unit, instrumentation, and UI tests, as well as CI/CD pipeline maintenance for mobile apps.\n\nDemonstrated experience building consumer-facing mobile products, not exclusively B2B.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience working in a startup environment.\n\nProven mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior engineers.\n\nStrong CS fundamentals, ideally backed by a rigorous university background.\n\nClear, effective communication and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $160,000 to $200,000 USD annually.
