You will own core cloud infrastructure, deployment systems, and reliability, helping the team deliver product changes safely and efficiently.\nWhat You'll Do\nArchitect, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure across compute, messaging, storage, networking, and observability.\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support automated deployments from commit to production.\n\nManage production PostgreSQL, including configuration, performance tuning, migrations, and backup strategies.\n\nMake pragmatic tradeoffs between delivery speed and foundational system quality.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders and product teams to shape architecture and technical direction.\n\nExplore AI-assisted development tools and incorporate them into build and deployment workflows where useful.\n\nInvestigate complex distributed systems issues and deliver reliable solutions.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTypically 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on ownership of production infrastructure.\n\nDeep AWS expertise and strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or a similar tool.\n\nSolid understanding of distributed systems concepts, including ordering, idempotency, retries, at-least-once delivery, and partial failure recovery.\n\nProduction PostgreSQL experience with connection pooling, migrations, performance optimization, and backup and restore.\n\nAbility to read and understand TypeScript and Node.js codebases, with familiarity with NestJS.\n\nExperience operating high-traffic, highly available systems and strong independent debugging skills.\n\nComfort using AI coding tools while maintaining strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.\n\nCollaborative communication style and a genuine interest in the product and its users.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive salary and employee stock options are offered.
