You will help scale the system architecture and engineering practices while staying hands-on with product development and influencing technical direction.\nWhat You'll Do\nEvolve the system architecture and improve performance to support substantial growth and enterprise requirements.\n\nBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and testing practices.\n\nDevelop product features hands-on wherever the team needs support.\n\nDefine technical standards for observability, security, and code quality.\n\nSupport team growth through code reviews, pair programming, architecture discussions, and mentoring.\n\nDocument technical decisions and clearly explain trade-offs and implications.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nFive or more years of backend engineering experience, including experience helping a software startup scale significantly.\n\nA degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n\nStrong backend experience with TypeScript and Node.js; familiarity with NestJS, PostgreSQL, Next.js, Docker, and AWS is valuable.\n\nKnowledge of databases, performance optimization, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.\n\nExperience establishing technical standards and mentoring engineers or guiding code reviews and architecture discussions.\n\nA hands-on, pragmatic approach, sound technical judgment, and excellent German or English skills.
