You will own the reliability, scale, performance, and developer experience of core systems that support demanding workloads.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn uptime, latency, provisioning speed, infrastructure costs, and incident response for production platform services.\n\nBuild and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Docker, EC2, CodeBuild, ECR, S3, IAM, networking, and secrets management.\n\nDesign systems for scale, including capacity planning, autoscaling, queueing, backpressure, cleanup jobs, retries, and rollback paths.\n\nImprove dashboards, alerts, logs, traces, SLOs, runbooks, and on-call workflows to speed up detection and resolution of production issues.\n\nBuild CI/CD pipelines, release automation, environment management, and safe deployment workflows.\n\nWrite production code to automate infrastructure, improve backend services, and build internal developer tools.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 2 years of experience in platform, backend, or infrastructure engineering, operating production cloud infrastructure.\n\nStrong technical fundamentals and production experience with AWS and containerized systems, including Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, networking, load balancers, and secrets management.\n\nExperience owning reliability and incident response, and building CI/CD, observability, and safe release workflows.\n\nSound backend engineering judgment across service architecture, APIs, databases, asynchronous systems, and production failure modes.\n\nAI/ML platform or software engineering experience, with relevant work on data-heavy platforms, bursty workloads, long-running jobs, sandboxed execution, distributed workers, or high-concurrency services.\n\nExperience improving cloud costs and developer productivity through architecture, autoscaling, workload placement, caching, cleanup systems, or internal tools.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $100,000 to $170,000 USD annually.
