You will own SEO strategy and execution end-to-end, starting with DACH and expanding internationally, with the goal of ranking at the top of both traditional search and AI-generated results.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and execute a full SEO strategy across multiple markets, beginning with DACH and scaling internationally.\n\nGuide website and engineering teams on page structure, site architecture, crawlability, and technical SEO implementation.\n\nLead keyword research and competitive analysis across traditional search engines and AI search tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity.\n\nWrite and commission SEO-optimized content to target and rank for priority queries.\n\nManage a monthly SEO budget of approximately 20,000 to 30,000 EUR, including oversight of external agencies while retaining strategic ownership.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5 or more years of full-time SEO ownership, with measurable ranking improvements and organic traffic growth at scale; not SEO as a side responsibility.\n\nFluent in both English and German, written and spoken.\n\nProven track record executing SEO strategy across multiple international markets and languages beyond your home country.\n\nHands-on technical SEO expertise covering page structure, site architecture, and collaboration with engineering teams on implementation.\n\nExperience managing SEO budgets and working with external agencies while maintaining in-house strategic direction.\n\nStrong copywriting skills, able to write compelling, well-ranking content, not just optimize it.\n\nHands-on experience with website builders and CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or similar tools.\n\nFamiliarity with AI search tools and how to optimize for AI-generated results.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: 65,000 to 100,000 EUR annually.
