As a founding engineer for US operations, you will own core backend systems and help shape the platform from the ground up.\nWhat You'll Do\nShip production code early while learning the codebase, banking domain, and product.\n\nOwn major engineering projects as an individual contributor, from initial design through production.\n\nTurn complex financial and banking requirements into reliable software that operates at scale.\n\nMake decisions about system design, data modeling, and architectural tradeoffs.\n\nWork with engineering, product, and clients to guide the evolution of core banking systems.\n\nBuild simple, automated systems that reduce recurring manual work.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience, including production work on banking, financial systems, or large-scale core infrastructure.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience in an early-stage or small startup environment.\n\nExperience designing and delivering major projects end-to-end, including making production system design and data modeling decisions.\n\nStrong ability to ship iteratively, maintain code quality, and take ownership of reliable systems.\n\nComfort working in new problem areas without an established playbook.\n\nInterest in core banking systems and financial infrastructure.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary of $200,000 to $400,000 annually, plus equity.
