As a founding engineer, you will own important systems end to end and help shape a programmable banking platform designed to move money reliably at scale.\nWhat You'll Do\nShip production code early while learning the codebase, product, and banking domain.\n\nLead projects from initial concept through implementation and production as an individual contributor.\n\nTranslate complex financial and banking problems into reliable software that can operate at scale.\n\nMake decisions about system design, data modeling, and architectural tradeoffs.\n\nWork with engineering, product, and clients to evolve core banking systems.\n\nBuild simple, automated solutions that reduce operational effort and are easy to maintain.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience in an early-stage company or small startup environment.\n\nA track record of writing clean, correct, maintainable code and taking strong ownership of quality.\n\nAbility to ship, iterate, and make progress in new problem areas without waiting for a detailed playbook.\n\nInterest in core banking systems and financial infrastructure.\n\nWillingness to work from New York or relocate.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nAnnual base salary of $200,000 to $400,000, plus equity. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, relocation support, and visa support.\nLocation\nOn-site in New York, New York.
