The right candidate will be technically excellent, comfortable challenging Opco leadership on financial performance, driving change on the ground.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage day-to-day accounting of entities assigned and be fully responsible for the Accounts Payable function\nPerform the month end closing and preparation of the monthly financial reporting\nPerform year-end closing of accounts and timely production of financial statements and tax returns\nEnsure global and local accounting policies and standards are adhered to\nManage regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines such as annual audit and tax return process \nPreparation of clear concise financial and analytical reports\nAssist with internal and external audits \nSupport in tax advisory and optimisation projects, working with external advisers as required \nAnalyse financing options, as needed \nAssist the Finance & Accounting team in special projects as and when required\nRequirements\nThe successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:\nChartered Accountant qualification\nBig 4 experience is a strong advantage \nBachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline\nGood understanding and working knowledge of internal controls and financial governance\nHighly proficient in Microsoft applications\nMeticulous and unfazed by impossible standards\nHave an opinion, but know when restraint is appropriate\nAble to earn the trust of both junior and senior colleagues\nDriven to achieve and to bring others along -
