This position will oversee various technical functions. Safety is of utmost importance. Work may be in a shop environment or out in the field.\nSummary of Responsibilities:\nInspect, repair, and wire all electrical and/or electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltage in the mine, plant, or assigned areas; including power transmission lines, transformers, and related equipment.\nInstall, repair, calibrate, test, and adjust any type of integrating, indicating, controlling, or graphic electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical instrument. \nWork schedules may vary to provide 24/7 coverage for the facility.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCompletion of an accredited electrical training or apprenticeship program\n4 years of relevant experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience within an industrial production environment.\nMay be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, to ensure 24-hour coverage, 7 days per week during major repairs or as needed. Regular attendance is an essential requirement. Must be able to physically perform all these responsibilities safely: walk on uneven surfaces, climb equipment, operate pickup, and other small fleet vehicles, etc.\nThe pay rate for this role is $41.504 - $43.177/hour\nCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
