On our team, you will provide stellar care at one of the top healthcare organizations in the nation.\nAs Coordinator I, you play a critical role in the organization and management of the Volunteer Department. In this role, you will support daily operations by preparing reports, coordinating schedules, assisting with special projects and activities, and recommending team development initiatives. You will serve as the dispatcher for volunteer transport services, ensuring timely coordination of patient transportation needs. Your work directly enhances departmental workflow and efficiency, helping support high quality patient care and a positive experience for patients, caregivers, and visitors.\nThis is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working shifts varying between 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. with weekend requirements.\nA caregiver who excels in this role will:\nCoordinate department project activities. \nDevelop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities. \nCoordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities. \nCoordinate administrative activities for the department (e.g., coordinating resources, timing and activities). \nManage department schedule for key activities. \nEnsure that administrative support is provided as needed. \nParticipate in project teams and build competency around specific department tools and methods for organizational performance improvement. \nMaintain data, develop databases and complete analysis. \nProvide reports and prepare charts, presentations or summary data. \nMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nHigh School Diploma or GED and two years of experience \nOR Bachelor’s Degree \nPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nExperience coordinating multiple functions, managing data and leading mid-size projects \nManagement experience\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods\nAbility to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment\nAbility to travel throughout the hospital system\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information.\nPersonal Protective Equipment:\nFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. \nThe policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
