In this role, you will support the creation of various analytics and .NET applications through the use of databases, such as MS SQL and/or Teradata. You will develop, maintain and enhance databases and applications for internal purposes and customer reporting while working on multiple projects and supporting areas of subject matter expertise.\nA caregiver in this role works remotely Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.\nTo be considered for this role, caregivers must reside in Ohio, Nevada or Florida.\nA caregiver who excels in this role will:\nWork in a team of database developers, software developers, and business analysts. \nDeliver database analytics and web based applications.\nAdminister existing databases and the analysis, design, and creation of new databases.\nPerform data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementation of schemas, and the ability to interpret and write complex code.\nProactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints.\nDesign, implement and support ETL processes.\nEstablish database development standards, documentation and best practices.\nHandle multiple projects while supporting existing production databases and processes.\nPerform support, development and administrative activities as required. \nProvide periodic on-call duty to support department 7x24x365 applications.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field\n(Additional database development experience may offset the degree requirement)\nThree years of database development (e.g., MS SQL and/or Teradata, Snowflake) or DBT and Airflow experience\nSolid understanding of databases and .NET computing environment concepts\nExcellent knowledge of current technologies and project management skills\nDiverse technology background required along with strong verbal and written communication skills\nPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nMaster’s degree\nMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) from Microsoft\nTeradata Database Certified Associate (TDCA) from Teradata Certified Professional Program (TCPP)\nProgramming experience with an emphasis on coding that scales well and is optimized for use in a high-volume environment\nExperience in the physical and logical design of database architecture\nExperience in Python\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information. \nAbility to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. \nAbility to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment. \nIn some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system. \nIn some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.\nPersonal Protective Equipment:\nFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.\nThe policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
