You will perform data entry and lab processing, schedule research activities, interact with participants, and float between teams to gain full exposure to research operations. This role assists in helping patients receive access to specialized and innovative care.\nA caregiver who excels in this role will:\nAssist the research team with research study related tasks. \nAssist with completion of protocol related activities. \nObtain and maintain clinical competencies for unlicensed caregivers such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, POC testing and other testing as required. \nAssist with the development and coordination of the research subject schedule in compliance with the research protocol. \nAssis with the collection, recording and maintenance of research study records. \nAssist in the development and maintenance of research tools, such as spreadsheets, questionnaires, and/or brochures. \nMaintain study personnel certification records (license, CV, CITI, etc.). \nEstablish and maintain filing systems. \nOrder and stock supplies.\nMaintain professional relationships, including frequent and open effective communication with internal and external customers.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nDemonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer-based skills, especially in the use of work processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software\nAbility to undertake internet searches\nStrong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills\nContinually demonstrates competency with defined requirements for the position as established by Cleveland Clinic\nPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:\nBachelor’s Degree \nOne year experience in a healthcare setting\n(Degree may substitute the experience requirement)\nKnowledge of medical terminology\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods\nAbility to operate a computer and other office equipment\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information\nIn some locations, ability to move up to 25 pounds\nPersonal Protective Equipment:\nFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.\nThe policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
