This role partners across Customer Success, Product, and Sales to ensure customers achieve maximum deliverability performance, driving both retention and business expansion.\nThe candidate will be the definitive expert in email deliverability , protecting customer sender reputation, accelerating onboarding, growing email revenue, and championing inbox success across every account.\nWhat will you do :\nLead end-to-end email onboarding, including domain/IP warm-up planning and authentication setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI).\n\nDiagnose and resolve email deliverability issues including spam filter triggers, blocklist incidents, and bounce management.\n\nSupport pre-sales and prospect closure by providing technical email expertise and deliverability assessments.\n\nDesign and deliver Email Masterclasses, Webinars, and written Blogs to establish platform thought leadership.\n\nExecute Email Value Programs (EVPs) and facilitate Email Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic accounts.\n\nOwn and resolve email-related Support Tickets within defined SLAs.\n\nScope, build, and optimize email performance dashboards for internal and customer-facing use.\n\nDrive retention by developing strategies for high-value accounts, producing case studies and testimonials.\n\nEnable customers on next-generation features including AMP for Email, Gmail Annotations, and BIMI.\n\nManage partner collaboration to develop email templates and enable managed services.\n\nLeverage AI and automation to streamline onboarding, troubleshooting, reporting, and customer engagement, driving operational efficiency, scalable workflows, and enhanced customer experience.\n\nWhat are we looking for ?\nMust Have :\nDeep understanding of ISP spam filter logic and inbox placement algorithms.\n\nExpert knowledge of DNSBL (Domain Name System Blacklist) ecosystems and delisting processes.\n\nMastery of email authentication standards: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI.\n\nEnd-to-end understanding of IP and domain warm-up methodology.\n\nProficiency with ISP diagnostic tools: Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS, and Feedback Loops (FBLs).\n\nHands-on experience implementing and supporting AMP for Email and Gmail Annotations.\n\nStrong ability to analyse email performance reports and translate data into actionable insights.\n\nSkilled at identifying, reproducing, and debugging complex deliverability issues.\n\nWorking knowledge of global anti-spam legislation: CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR (email provisions), and applicable regional laws.\n\nSolid understanding of SMTP protocol, mail transfer architecture, and email header analysis.\n\nExperience with global email best practices across B2C and B2B sending environments.\nGood to Have :\n\nExperience with enterprise email marketing platforms - Sendgrid, Mailgun, Netcore etc.\n\nEmail Scripting knowledge - HTML/CSS/JS.\nMeasures of Success :\n\nEmail Onboarding - Seamless, high-quality onboarding for all new email customers - measured by CSAT, time-to-first-send, and onboarding completion rate.\n\nCustomer Retention - Maintain best-in-class retention of email accounts by proactively resolving deliverability risks and driving value.\n\nEmail Business Growth - Drive upsell and volume growth across the email book of business via account optimisation and competitive displacement.\n\nEmail Evangelism - Establish thought leadership via webinars, blogs, EVPs, and QBRs that increase platform adoption and feature utilisation.\n\nWho will you report to: Director - Email Deliverability\n\nWhy join us\nContribute to a product backed by 11 technology patents, showcasing industry-leading innovation.\nYou are passionate about technology and its impact on the high-growth mobile technology space\n\nPower personalized engagement at scale, processing over 30 billion events daily and reaching 3+ billion devices worldwide.\n\nFlourish in an Environment that Nurtures Growth and Curiosity\n\nLearn More\nGet to know us better before you apply!\nCheck out our product documentation, engineering blog, and customer stories to see how we work and what we value.\nOur Culture Video\n\nCleverAI \n\nCleverTap Developer Documentation\n\nBlogs\n\nTesseractDB™\n\nCleverTap Product Demo\n\nAbout CleverTap:\nCleverTap is the world’s leading AI-first, all-in-one customer engagement and retention platform, redefining how brands build lasting customer relationships in the Agentic era.
