# Community Safety Program Coordinator

Job Purpose: Provides leadership in developing and delivering community safety and prevention initiatives within Cold Lake First Nations, with direct responsibility for implementing the Strong Paths, Safe Futures - Guns & Gangs (GnG) initiative for youth ages 12-24. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day implementation, tracking, and reporting of the Strong Paths, Safe Futures initiative in accordance with funding requirements. Plan and maintain consistent outreach, mentorship, and prevention activities for at-risk and justice-involved youth. Supervise, schedule, and support Youth Outreach & Mentorship Worker(s) and assigned program staff. Build trusting relationships with youth, families, and Elders, incorporating Dene teachings, language, and land-based activities. Coordinate case supports and referrals with internal CLFN services and maintain collaborative partnerships with external agencies (e.g., RCMP, Community Corrections, schools). Contribute to the broader Community Safety Department's development while ensuring GnG-funded activities, time, and expenditures are documented separately for accountability.
