The coordinator will co-develop the start-up, coordinate, and deliver restorative initiatives by working closely with the director of community safety, the FCSS justice supports worker, Elders, leadership, community members, and partner agencies.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nCo-develop and implement a community-based restorative justice program.\nFacilitate restorative justice circles (healing, sentencing, conflict resolution).\nRecruit and support circle keepers and facilitators.\nLiaise with RCMP, Victim Services, Corrections, Crown Prosecutors, and other partners.\nConduct community outreach and awareness activities.\nEnsure Elders and cultural practices are embedded in programming.\nDevelop policies and procedures for a start-up department.\nTrack outcomes and complete reporting for funding partners.\nMaintain confidential case files.\nSupport program growth and sustainability.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nPost-Secondary education in restorative justice, social work, or related field.\nExperience facilitating circles or mediation.\nExperience in Indigenous or community justice settings.\nUnderstand trauma-informed practice.\nAbility to pass a Criminal Records Check, including the vulnerable sector.\nFamiliarity with Cold Lake First Nations community.\nDene language is an asset.\nAbility to build relationships with community and partners.\nStrong organizational and reporting skills.\nAbility to work independently in a start-up environment.\nHigh level of professionalism and confidentiality.\nWorking Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:\nOffice environment.
