Follow standard procedures outlined in the Work Instructions to ensure efficient workflow and product is of the highest-quality and work environment is as safe as possible.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReviews Drawings and Work Orders.\nPerform dimensional inspection of Key Characteristics.\nVerifies that correct Gauges and Tools are available for the Work Order.\nOperates machines, making necessary adjustments to produce quality parts.\nCompletes Work Order requirements and Verifies Count Operations.\nNotifies lead or Supervisor of any machine or process challenges.\nAccurately and clearly completes all required documentation.\nMaintains work area and machine in a clean and orderly condition.\nFollows safe work practices and safety requirements.\nUnderstands, advocates and follows Lean Work Practices.\nDisplays a willingness to follow direction and be flexible when assigned jobs on various machines.\nCooperative with Supervisor, Lead and co-workers.\nWill work alone and in a team environment with changing assignments.\nOther duties as requested, directed or assigned including being re-assigned to other work areas calling for these skills.\nQualifications\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum of high school education or General Education Diploma (GED) and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with machine operation experience.\nCertifications in manufacturing such as; Certified Production Technician (CPT), Manufacturing Technician (MT1), etc. a plus.\nNational Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) preferred.\nMust have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.\nMust be familiar with Manufacturing Drawings.\nMust have basic Math skills.\nJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nUsing established methods and procedures, operators must be able to perform the duties while maintaining In Process Inspection and data collection using calipers, micrometers and other inspection devices as required.\nWill be required to use hand tools for adjustments and operation of various machines.\nMust have excellent hand-eye coordination.\nMust be able to perform repetitive motions.\nMust have the ability to monitor quality while performing repetitive tasks.\nMust maintain open communication with management of job status, workload, challenges and progress of Work Orders.\nTRAINING REQUIREMENTS:\nGeneral Safety, SDS and FOD requirements.\nQuality System Awareness.\nComprehension of general production processes as required.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nFrequent lifting and moving of up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifting of 50 lbs. with assistance.\nUse of fingers, hands and arms continuously throughout shift.
