You'll build the foundational services that empower engineers to crack production issues like never before.\n\nWho You Are:\nA backend engineer who excels at building reliable, performant services in TypeScript and Node.js.\n\nA creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.\n\nDriven to ship features that make a tangible impact for customers.\n\nEager to learn and push boundaries, embracing new technologies and approaches.\n\nLove what you do and are passionate about software.\n\nMove fast and learn from mistakes.\n\nLove the freedom to create with minimal interruptions.\n\nWhat You Bring:\n5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development, with a preference for building developer tools or infrastructure.\n\nStrong TypeScript and Node.js skills (experience with Express, Fastify, or similar frameworks).\n\nSolid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and data modeling.\n\nExperience with Go is a plus - you'll occasionally contribute to Go-based services.\n\nFamiliarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nA passion for open source and the developer community.\n\nExperience creating developer tooling and an eye for how to design for developers.\n\nBonus Points:\nExperience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or other analytical/OLTP databases.\n\nStrong opinions on observability tools and a vision for making them 10x better.\n\nFamiliarity with OpenTelemetry, logging pipelines, or metrics infrastructure.\n\nExperience with SDKs or client library design.\n\nExposure to message queues, streaming systems (Kafka, NATS), or event-driven architectures.\n\nPerks\nFlexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly.
