Our relentless pursuit of excellence has been the cornerstone of our continuous success.\n\nJob Description:\nWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team and help\noperate, maintain and evolve the infrastructure behind our core affiliate tracking platform.\nOur infrastructure is primarily hosted on AWS, so strong hands-on AWS experience is essential.\nYou will work across cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, infrastructure as code, configuration\nmanagement, containerised workloads, CI/CD pipelines, databases, monitoring and production\noperations.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role is suited to someone who is comfortable taking ownership of\nproduction infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues and improving the reliability and\nautomation of our environments.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot production infrastructure primarily hosted on\nAWS\n\nManage AWS environments and services including: AWS Organizations: EC2, Application Load Balancers (ALB), Lambdas, S3, RDS / Aurora MySQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache / Redis, SQS and SNS, CloudWatch, AWS Backup, AWS WAF\n\nAdminister and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.\n\nBuild and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, with an emphasis on repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure.\n\nMaintain and improve server and application configuration using Ansible.\n\nOperate containerised applications using Docker and Docker Compose.\n\nBuild, maintain and improve Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and operational workflows.\n\nMonitor infrastructure and applications using Grafana, Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch.\n\nManage and troubleshoot database infrastructure including MySQL / Aurora, DynamoDB and ClickHouse.\n\nOperate and troubleshoot Redis-based workloads using AWS ElastiCache.\n\nInvestigate production incidents, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.\n\nImprove platform reliability, scalability, security and performance.\n\nAutomate repetitive operational tasks and reduce manual infrastructure management.\n\nReview infrastructure changes and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.\n\nMaintain appropriate backup, recovery, monitoring and alerting processes.\n\nWork closely with developers and other technical teams to support application deployments and production environments.\n\nRequired Experience:\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.\n\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\n\nGood understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM and infrastructure architecture.\n\nProduction experience with several of the AWS services used in our stack, particularly EC2, ALB, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch and AWS Organizations.\n\nStrong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.\n\nExperience with Ansible or comparable configuration-management tooling.\n\nGood working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose.\n\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Jenkins.\n\nExperience operating and troubleshooting MySQL in production.\n\nExperience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch.\n\nGood understanding of networking concepts including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls, routing and TLS.\n\nAbility to diagnose complex infrastructure and application issues across multiple layers of a production environment.\n\nComfortable working with Git and infrastructure-as-code development workflows.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with any of the following would be beneficial, but is not required across the board:\nAWS Lambda and serverless architectures\n\nDynamoDB\n\nClickHouse\n\nRedis / AWS ElastiCache\n\nSQS and SNS\n\nAWS WAF\n\nAWS Backup and disaster-recovery strategies\n\nAWS multi-account environments and AWS Organizations\n\nInfrastructure security and hardening\n\nHigh-availability and scalable production architectures\n\nPerformance troubleshooting and capacity planning\n\nScripting and automation using Bash, Python or similar languages\n\nBenefits & Rewards\nA brilliant opportunity to grow your career & work with a fun, fast-paced & growing company, prepared to let you shine\n\nAn entrepreneurial environment where you learn more every day (we more than welcome and support people with their own projects)\n\nBuild an organization that continues to diversify its portfolio\n\nPersonal responsibility with a ton of autonomy\n\n33 free paid days\n\nMarket-leading remuneration and bonuses available\n\nAn international team with over 35 nationalities\n\nFully Remote working \n\nWhat do we mean by \"Fully Remote\"\nClickout Media offers you an unparalleled working experience.
