Introduction Job Purpose: To lead the analytics function to identify and provides the strategic insight and commercial intelligence to enable informed, competitive and sustainable decisions across pricing, promotions and vendor funding in order to maximise long term value and profitability for the business. Duties & Responsibilities Job Objectives: · To identify strategic opportunities and provide recommendations that strengthen adherence to the business pricing strategy including KVI principles. · To define the pricing and promotion decision framework and strategic approach in collaboration with category teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment with growth objectives, budget requirements and targeted returns on investment. · To determine the strategic approach to promotional value creation with category teams to ensure the selection of mechanisms that maximise return on investment and use of private label products. · To set the decision standards for supplier negotiations and vendor funding in consultation with category teams to ensure optimal funding outcomes and evidence‑based allocation to the highest yielding promotional plans. · To drive implementation pricing rules
