Unicare is looking for a Concierge to join the Dispensary Support Department. This role will be based in the 24HR Pharmacy in Bellville, Cape Town.\nJob description\nJob Objectives\nTo assist and direct customers to the correct queue for prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medication.\nTo assist customers with opening customer profiles, linking their Clicks ClubCard, and updating customer information when required.\nTo manage the handout counter by removing buzzers and ensuring there is always a pharmacist available to sign out medication.\nTo direct customers to the coffee shop or seating area while waiting for medication.\nTo provide special assistance to elderly, disabled, or mobility-impaired customers by directing them to the seating counter and notifying an assistant or pharmacist.\nTo answer incoming telephone calls and take messages when pharmacists are unavailable.\nTo collect and remove empty containers and ensure they are taken to the back area.\nTo collect all signed-out parcels from the handout counter.\nTo check parcels for blister packs, deliveries, and calling requirements.\nTo record calling parcels in the calling book and ensure customers sign upon collection of medication.\nTo ensure parcels are rung up by the cashier on the relevant account and placed in the designated crate for hospital driver collection.\nTo scan, label, and file paperwork and script copies accurately.\nTo ensure pharmacist and assistant nameplates are correctly displayed and updated according to shift changes.\nTo check stationery levels daily for both day and night shifts.\nTo ensure all workstations are sanitised and maintained to hygiene standards.\nTo uphold high standards of customer service at all times.\nMinimum requirements\nEducation and Experience:\nEssential: Grade 12\nPrevious pharmacy, retail, sales or customer service experience in a customer facing role within a pharmacy/retail store operations environment (essential)\nJob related knowledge and skills:\nPharmacy/Retail background\nKnowledge of customer service excellence\nStrong customer orientation\nGood communication skills\nComputer literacy\nNumeracy skills\nSelling skills\nMerchandising skills\nCompetencies:\nEssential:\nFollowing instructions and
