The role is responsible for continuous monitoring, first-level incident detection and troubleshooting, execution of approved recovery procedures, and timely escalation to the appropriate platform, infrastructure and application support teams.\n\nTech Stack : \n\n- Red Hat OpenShift\n\n- Kubernetes\n\n- Linux\n\n- GitOps\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n24x7 Platform Monitoring : \n\n- Monitor platform and application dashboards, alerts and operational mailboxes.\n\n- Identify availability, infrastructure, application and service degradation events.\n\n- Acknowledge alerts promptly and determine initial severity based on established procedures.\n\n- Maintain accurate shift handover and operational records.\n\nFirst-Level Incident Troubleshooting : \n\n- Perform basic network connectivity checks including ping, DNS resolution and endpoint connectivity.\n\n- Check OpenShift/Kubernetes resource status including nodes, pods, deployments and services.\n\n- Review basic application and platform logs to identify common failure conditions.\n\n- Check infrastructure and service health using approved dashboards and operational tools.\n\n- Collect relevant diagnostic information before escalation.\n\nIncident Recovery : \n\n- Execute documented recovery procedures and operational runbooks.\n\n- Restart or redeploy affected workloads using approved GitOps processes.\n\n- Verify service recovery through dashboards, health checks and application endpoints.\n\n- Escalate when recovery procedures are unsuccessful or when an incident falls outside the approved operating scope.\n\nIncident Coordination & Escalation : \n\n- Create and maintain incident tickets with accurate timestamps, symptoms, actions and observations.\n\n- Engage the appropriate application, platform, infrastructure or network teams based on established escalation procedures.\n\n- Provide clear status updates during active incidents.\n\n- Support incident bridges by providing operational information and executing actions requested by L2/L3 engineers.\n\n- Ensure effective handover of unresolved incidents between shifts.\n\nOperational Procedures : \n\n- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks and change-management processes.\n\n- Document newly encountered symptoms and successful troubleshooting steps.\n\n- Highlight recurring alerts or
