Clients Blackbox is in a major growth period, and we're looking for a Senior Paid Media Strategist / Paid Media Lead who can own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, creative testing, and client communication.\nThe Opportunity\nThis is a senior hands-on role for an experienced performance marketer who can operate beyond Ads Manager.\nYou'll own a portfolio of client accounts end to end - leading client conversations, managing Meta performance, writing direct-response copy and video sales letter scripts, developing testing strategies, and diagnosing where performance can improve across the funnel.\nYou'll report to the Associate Director of Operations and be directly accountable for client performance, relationships, and retention.\nWhat You'll Own\nClient Strategy & Relationships\nOwn a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact\nLead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps\nPrepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls\nTranslate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions\nBuild strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals\nProactively identify and address account risks and opportunities\nPaid Media Performance\nBuild, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking\nManage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing\nMonitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other key acquisition metrics\nDiagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes are most likely to improve results\nDevelop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables\nCopy & Creative Strategy\nWrite direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences\nDevelop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing\nUse performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses\nCollaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction\nUse AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategic judgment\nTracking & Funnel Execution\nSet up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events\nConfigure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows\nIdentify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems\nEvaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify the source of funnel problems\nRequirements\n5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with substantial Meta advertising responsibility\nExperience simultaneously managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations\nProven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention\nStrong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts\nExperience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging\nExperience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation\nStrong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Experience\nFinancial services marketing\nLead-generation and appointment-setting campaigns\nVideo sales letter marketing\nHigh-ticket or considered-purchase funnels\nPerformance marketing agency experience\nDirect-response advertising\nNOTE: Upper Compensation Range ($115K+) Candidates considered for the upper compensation range must demonstrate hands-on experience developing and optimizing direct-response ad copy, video scripts/VSLs, creative hooks, messaging angles, and conversion-focused funnels. They should be able to demonstrate measurable improvements in campaign performance, lead quality, conversion rates, and booked appointments resulting from their creative contributions. Experience in financial services, RIA marketing, and compliance-sensitive advertising is strongly preferred.\nHow You Work\nYou take ownership. When performance drops, you investigate the account, identify the likely cause, develop a strategy, and act.
