The Information Governance Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the law firm's information governance and records management functions. Working closely with the Records Department, legal teams, and the wider Information Governance team, this role will help ensure the efficient handling, organization, and accessibility of both physical and electronic records in compliance with firm policies and legal obligations. This position will report to the Head of Information Governance.\nKey responsibilities:\nCoordinate and support the implementation and improvement of the Firm’s document management and storage practices.\nServe as a liaison between attorneys, staff, offsite storage vendors, and internal departments regarding file retrieval, storage, and disposition.\nProvide administrative and operational support including filing, scanning, printing, and handling email correspondence related to records management.\nPrepare, edit, and proofread records-related documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nUtilize firm databases and systems to track, locate, and manage document sources and file statuses.\nAssist in the return, transfer, or archiving of electronic and physical client files in accordance with the Firm’s retention and destruction policies.\nMaintain accurate records of physical and electronic file activities and assist with audits or compliance reviews as needed.\nSupport onboarding and training efforts related to information governance procedures and systems.\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned by the Head of Information Governance.\n Your experience\nMinimum of 2+ years of relevant experience; law firm environment preferred.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nDetail-oriented approach to work with a deep commitment to client service.\nFlexibility and ability to work as part of a team and independently\nAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience with legal technology tools such as FileTrail\nAbility to exercise the utmost sense of confidentiality\nMust have strong technical proficiency in a range of software, including Microsoft Office; knowledge in FileTrail is preferred.\nFlexibility to work outside the core business hours including overtime and weekends as needed.\nMust be able to lift and transport file boxes (estimate 25 pounds)\nMust be able to adhere to and comply with the Firm's Agile Working Policy which requires employees to work from the office at least three days each calendar week.\nMust be independently legally authorized to work in the United States\nClifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000.
