This position will be remote with a preference for Tampa, Florida.\nPosition Description\nThe Junior Inventory Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of ClimeCo's environmental commodities inventory. You'll work closely with our Finance and Operations teams to track, reconcile, and report on carbon credit and environmental attribute positions - ensuring our books reflect the real-world movement of assets that drive client outcomes.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants to build technical depth in a fast-growing, mission-driven industry.\nWhat You'll Do\nMaintain and reconcile inventory records for environmental commodities (carbon credits, RECs, and related instruments) across multiple registries and platforms\nProcess inventory transactions including acquisitions, retirements, and transfers with accuracy and timeliness\nAssist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including inventory subledger reconciliation to the general ledger\nPrepare journal entries and supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP\nSupport internal and external audit requests related to inventory\nIdentify and flag discrepancies, working cross-functionally with Operations and commercial teams to resolve\nAssist in developing and improving inventory tracking procedures and controls\nGenerate inventory reports and summaries for Finance leadership as needed\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n0-2 years of accounting or finance experience;
