We are seeking a Junior Statistical Programmer to join our in-house team and support projects across a diverse client portfolio, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer health companies of varying sizes.\nThe Junior Statistical Programmer is a delivery-focused role supporting clinical trial programming activities under the guidance and supervision of experienced Statistical Programmers and Programming Team Leaders. The individual will contribute to the development, validation, and maintenance of statistical programming deliverables and gain hands-on experience in clinical trial data and industry standards.\nThe role requires a strong foundation in statistical programming, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nResponsibilities\nProgramming for Clinical Trials\nSupport the development and validation of datasets, tables, figures, and listings for clinical trials.\nPerform programming activities using SAS and/or R under appropriate guidance and review.\nAssist with processing and integrating data from internal and external sources.\nSupport ad hoc analyses and programming activities for clinical development and other Research & Development functions.\nAssist with the development, review, and maintenance of programming specifications and documentation.\nContribute to the development and review of SDTM and ADaM datasets and specifications.\nSupport the preparation and review of Define-XML and other clinical trial documentation.\nWork closely with Senior Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, Data Managers, and other cross-functional team members.\nElectronic Submissions\nSupport the programming and validation of CDISC-compliant datasets and deliverables for regulatory submissions.\nAssist with the preparation of supporting documentation for electronic submissions.\nEnsure programming outputs follow applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.\nQuality and Validation\nPerform programming validation and quality checks according to established procedures.\nIdentify, document, and resolve programming issues in collaboration with senior team members.\nEnsure assigned deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.\nStandards and Guidelines\nFollow departmental programming standards, working instructions, and applicable industry guidelines.\nDevelop knowledge of CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.\nAssist in maintaining and improving programming macros, utilities, and reusable functions.\nQualification & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.\n0-2 years of experience in statistical programming, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or clinical research industry.\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of SAS and/or R.\nFamiliarity with SAS programming and SAS Macro language is preferred.\nBasic understanding of clinical trial data and the drug development process.\nKnowledge or exposure to CDISC standards, SDTM, and ADaM is preferred.\nFamiliarity with clinical trial datasets, tables, figures, and listings is an advantage.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and learn from senior team members.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks and meet project timelines.\nOpen Date: 9/29/2026 \nClose Date: 11/23/2026\n\nClinChoice Canada Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, valuing and respecting diversity.
