Overview\nWe are looking for an AssistantSoftware Engineer who wants to grow rapidly across backend engineering, AIintegration, media processing and platform operations.\nYou will work closely with Cliply'sAI, platform and product engineers to build the supporting systems that makeour AI capabilities usable, testable and reliable.\nThis is not a pure AI role and not apure DevOps role.\nInstead, you will help bridge the gapbetween models, services, data and product workflows while learning fromexperienced engineers across multiple disciplines.\nWhat You Will Work On\nAI Operations & Evaluation(Approx. 50%)\nIntegrate AI services into backend workflows.\nValidate AI outputs against expected results.\nBuild scripts and tools for evaluation and testing.\nMaintain datasets used to assess model quality.\nSupport retrieval and search workflows.\nInvestigate incorrect or unexpected AI outputs.\nMedia & Data Processing (Approx.35%)\nDevelop and maintain media-processing jobs.\nSupport subtitle, transcript and metadata pipelines.\nProcess and validate structured AI outputs.\nAssist with data preparation and annotation workflows.\nBuild automation around ingestion and content processing.\nPlatform & Engineering Operations(Approx. 15%)\nSupport deployment and monitoring workflows.\nMaintain development environments and internal tools.\nAssist with CI/CD automation.\nHelp improve observability and operational dashboards.\nSupport troubleshooting and production investigations.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nWithin your first six months:\nAI evaluation workflows are easier to run and maintain.\nModel outputs can be tested and verified consistently.\nMedia-processing jobs are reliable and observable.\nEngineering teams spend less time on repetitive operational tasks.\nDocumentation and internal tooling improve team productivity.\nMust Have\nGood knowledge of Python.\nExperience building meaningful personal, academic or professional software projects.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs and JSON.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nFamiliarity with Git and Linux.\nAbility to debug issues systematically.\nStrong curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nNice to Have\nFastAPI or Flask.\nPostgreSQL.\nDocker.\nBackground workers or asynchronous
