The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, adaptable, and comfortable operating in an evolving environment where they can take ownership, improve processes, and help build scalable financial practices.\nThis is an active role, requires working onsite work in Richmond Hill, ON.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Financial Operations & Reporting\nOversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.\nPrepare and review financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses.\nMonitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and working capital.\nEnsure the accuracy and integrity of financial records across the organization.\n2. Financial Planning & Analysis\nWork closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.\nDevelop financial models and analysis to support business planning and strategic decisions.\nTrack financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis.\nProvide meaningful financial insights to support operational and leadership decisions.\n3. Process Improvement & Financial Controls\nIdentify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiencies, and strengthen internal controls.\nEstablish and maintain scalable financial procedures, policies, and reporting frameworks.\nSupport the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools.\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.\nSupport internal and external audits and coordinate with external accounting partners where required.\n4.
