If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.\nYou'll join the engineering team building Security Core, the detection platform behind Cloud Protection. It runs in our own AWS environment and analyzes threats in Salesforce, returning the verdicts and intelligence the app enforces as customer policy.\nYou'll work across the full lifecycle of the platform: designing and building services, putting them into production, measuring how they perform on real traffic, and operating them for reliability and performance.\nWe work AI-natively. AI-assisted tools are part of how we explore solutions, write and review code, test, document, and improve how we work, and we expect you to use them with judgment, validating what they produce rather than taking it on trust.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and operate the Python services that make up Security Core on AWS\nBuild and evolve the detection pipelines that detect malware, phishing, and identity-based attacks\nImplement the metrics and observability that show detection quality, latency, and availability in production\nDrive architecture decisions on scalability, reliability, security, and cost\nOwn infrastructure as code and the delivery of production environments\nBuild internal tooling for threat analysts\nWork closely with the Salesforce app and threat intelligence teams\nWhat are we looking for?\nDeep engineering fundamentals: solid professional experience in system design, distributed systems, concurrency, and API design. We care more about reasoning from first principles than about familiarity with any particular framework\nProven ability to design cloud architecture on AWS: choosing the right services and making the trade-offs between scalability, reliability, security, and cost\nHands-on experience building and operating production services on AWS, including infrastructure as code\nFluency with AI-assisted development as a daily way of working, backed by the engineering judgment to direct it well and validate what it produces\nConfident Python backend development\nA practical, well-grounded approach to software testing\nClear communication and the ability to collaborate across engineering, threat intelligence, and product\nFluent English\nA cybersecurity background is a plus, not a requirement.
