Description\n\nThreat Detection & Response\n\n Monitor and analyze security events from various sources, including SIEM/XDR platforms like Microsoft\n\nSentinel and Rapid7 InsightIDR\n\n Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, including root cause analysis and forensic investigations\n Collaborate with the Incident Response Team to triage, classify, and escalate alerts as necessary\n Maintain and update incident response runbooks and playbooks aligned with NIST and MITRE ATT&CK\n\nframeworks\n\nTool & Platform Management\n\n Administer and optimize security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, CyberArk EPM, and Rapid7\n\nInsightVM\n\n Ensure Azure workloads are monitored and secured using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policies, and\n\nSentinel analytics rules\n\n Utilize Python scripting to automate detection workflows, playbook execution, and integration between tools\n\nand APIs\n\nVulnerability & Attack Surface Management\n\n Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using Rapid7 InsightVM and ensure timely risk-based patching and\n\nmitigation\n\n Continuously assess the organization's attack surface across endpoints, networks, and cloud infrastructure\n Recommend and implement hardening strategies, privilege controls, and segmentation to reduce risk\n\nSecurity Controls Coverage\n\n Ensure comprehensive coverage of security controls across all environments, including endpoints, networks,\n\nand cloud infrastructure\n\n Regularly review and update security controls to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities\n\nCybersecurity Metrics & Reporting\n\n Define and track key cyber security metrics (i.e., Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Respond (MTTR),\n\nincident severity distribution, alert-to-incident ratio, and vulnerability remediation timelines)\n\n Requirements :\n\nIn-depth experience with Microsoft Defender, Zscaler, CyberArk EPM, Rapid7 InsightIDR/InsightVM, Microsoft\n\nSentinel, Azure Security Center, and Zscaler ZIA\n\n Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and log enrichment\n In-depth knowledge of incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-61), SOC operations, and threat\n\nintelligence\n\n Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills\n Ability to convey technical risk to non-technical stakeholders\n\nEducational Qualifications\n\n Bachelor Or Master in Technology\n Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications\n\nCertifications\n\n Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, AZ-500, or equivalent are considered
