The role focuses on production operations, governance enforcement, security, and ensuring reliable and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn Azure platform reliability, availability, and operational readiness.\nLead incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.\nImplement Azure governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, PIM, naming conventions, and tagging standards.\nDrive FinOps initiatives, including resource rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and cost optimization.\nManage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), focusing on scaling, resource utilization, and operational boundaries.\nMaintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and change management processes.\nManage Azure subscriptions, management groups, networking, identity, and access controls.\nIdentify and remediate governance gaps, excessive permissions, and configuration drift.\nMust-Have Skills\n6+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience with production operations ownership.\nStrong expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, subscriptions, and management groups.\nExperience with Azure governance, Azure Policy, RBAC, and identity/access management.\nWorking knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).\nExperience in incident management, root cause analysis, and operational remediation.\nUnderstanding of Azure cost optimization and FinOps practices.\nAbility to enforce security, governance, and operational standards.\nGood-to-Have Skills\nHands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nExperience establishing CloudOps processes and governance frameworks.\nExposure to Azure Cost Management, reservations, and savings plans.\nExperience with ITIL-based IT service management.\nMandatory Certifications\nCandidates must have at least 2–3 relevant certifications from the following list:\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)\nMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-140)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)\nPreferred: ITIL 4 Foundation\nImportant Note\nThis is a Cloud Operations-focused role, not a DevOps enablement or application development position.
