You will help ensure stability, availability, and operational continuity of core infrastructure services in a managed services model. This role combines hands-on administration, troubleshooting, patching, backup, documentation, and close cooperation with Service Desk, infrastructure teams and customers in an ITIL-aligned environment.\nAt cloudatus, you will:\nAdminister and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments\n\nSupport server, storage, virtualization, backup, and monitoring solutions in production environments\n\nPerform routine maintenance, patching, updates, and configuration changes in line with operational procedures\n\nTroubleshoot incidents and infrastructure-related issues to restore services and minimize downtime\n\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation, configuration records, and operational knowledge base materials\n\nWork closely with Service Desk and other technical teams to ensure effective ticket handling and escalation\n\nSupport continuous improvement of infrastructure services and operational standards\n\nRequired technical and professional expertise:\nVery good knowledge of the on-premises infrastructure based on Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, File Server, Certificate Services etc.)\n\nStrong background in configuration and management of min. one virtualization platform (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)\n\nHands-on experience with backup and monitoring solutions\n\nExperience in servers/application/databases migration\n\nKnowledge of Azure public cloud\n\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with administration of Linux based operation systems\n\nwillingness and readiness to communicate directly with customers while handling and resolving support requests\n\na customer-focused, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to understand and empathize with the customer's perspective\n\npatience, attention to detail, and composure in high-pressure or crisis situations\n\nexperience working in an SLA-driven support or managed services environment\n\nfamiliarity with ITIL-based incident, request, change, and escalation processes\n\nGerman language skills\n\nThis role requires collaboration with customers from all around the world, therefore fluency in English is required (minimum B2 level).
