The successful candidate will be responsible for the regional APAC accounting function and will lead our experienced accounting team based in Asia. The individual we are seeking will be an experienced accounting manager with relevant people manager experience. We are looking for a person who has an understanding of the requirements needed to lead a team within a global shared services environment with scope across many jurisdictions.\nAs the APAC Accounting Manager you will:\nLead a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants\nEnsure team members are coached and developed to maximise their potential\nResponsible for the planning, completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of the financial statements for the APAC Region\nManage the subsidiary month-end closing & financial reporting process\nMonitor and forecast cash and oversee the bank integration\nSupport the global monthly consolidation process\nPlan, schedule and execute the annual statutory accounting process for our diverse legal entity structure within the region\nDrive efficiencies through continuous process improvement\nManage intercompany balances and settlement and align the with intercompany agreement terms\nMaintain compliance with the Company’s existing SOX and internal control processes and manage change to further enhance our control environment\nSupport the consolidated group quarterly and annual audits\nDevelop, review and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to APAC finance activities\nManage the relationship with our external local compliance firms to ensure that all regulatory compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately\nLiaise with Treasury, Payroll, HR, Equity, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and the Corporate accounting teams to ensure day-to-day finance operational needs are met and assist in resolving issues and providing guidelines\nLead any other ad-hoc tasks & projects\nWe're excited about you if you have:\nA qualified accountant with a minimum of 10+ years relevant accounting experience, pre-dominantly in a public company\nStrong foundation in accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting\nDeep knowledge of local statutory accounting regulations and compliance\nUS GAAP or IFRS accounting experience required\nAbility to multi-task, be agile and work well in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment\nTeam leader with strong communication, customer service, organizational skills and interpersonal skills\nAbility to meet deadlines, and to efficiently collaborate with various groups across the company as well as outside of the company\nProven experience to lead change initiatives and projects\nIntermediate/Advance skills for MS Excel & other MS Office solutions\nComprehensive knowledge of ERP systems and task manager tools- NetSuite, Asana and Blackline are
