Services of the platform include data preprocessing, AI model fine-tuning, inference oversight and MLOps for AI solutions in production. For traditional enterprises that have an aspiration to leverage AI to disrupt their industries but lack the skills or capabilities needed to design, prove, develop and deploy AI solutions we offer Forward deployed Engineering services that can advise, design, prove, develop, scale and operate AI solutions for them.\nYou will work directly with strategic clients to design and implement scalable technical integrations, define production-ready workflows, and ensure AI systems transition from experimentation to reliable deployment.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role with strong product and client-facing responsibilities.\nLocation & Travel:\nPreferred location: Reading area, UK and Berlin, Germany\n Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates \n Frequent travel to client sites may be required (depending on client needs)\nResponsibilities:\nAI Deployment Architecture:\nDesign and implement integrations between client systems and CloudFactory’s platform\nArchitect scalable agentic AI & human-in-the-loop workflows\nDefine data ingestion, transformation, and feedback loops\nEvaluate system bottlenecks (latency, quality, throughput)\nProduct Readiness & Scale:\nTranslate proof-of-concept AI systems into scalable production workflows\nIdentify operational risks before deployment\nPartner with Delivery teams to ensure execution feasibility\nImprove reliability and reduce manual intervention\nHands-on Engineering:\nBuild APIs, connectors, automation scripts, and data pipelines\nDebug integration issues in client environments\nContribute to internal platform enhancements\nField Product Intelligence:\nSurface recurring patterns from client deployments\nDistinguish between custom solutions and reusable features\nInfluence roadmap priorities with evidence from the field\nTechnical Leadership:\nLead technical discovery sessions\nSupport pre-sales validation\nAct as trusted advisor to enterprise engineering teams\nRequirements\nEngineering depth:\n2+ years software engineering experience\nStrong proficiency in Python, Go\nProficiency with Claude and all relevant AI tools\nExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)\nExperience building APIs and working with distributed systems\nSystems thinking:\nExperience designing data pipelines or ML infrastructure\nAbility to evaluate end-to-end workflow performance\nFamiliarity with AI/ML lifecycle (training → inference → evaluation → feedback)\nProduct judgement:\nAbility to differentiate scalable feature opportunities from custom requests\nStrong prioritization instincts\nCommunication:\nAbility to communicate with C-level and deeply technical stakeholders\nComfortable running technical workshops\nAble to translate ambiguity into architecture\nBenefits\nAt CloudFactory, we believe that work should be more than just a job, it should be a platform for growth, impact, and community.
