Your work will span Kubernetes integration, APIs, documentation and the day-to-day evolution of the services. You’ll help shape how customers build and run applications on the platform as part of a growing team with plenty of room to develop.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop components that power our PaaS services.\nDesign solutions for multi-tenant environments and large-scale systems.\nWork with the Product Manager to turn business needs into practical technical solutions.\nBuild prototypes and proofs of concept for new ideas.\nImprove existing code and implement new components.\nMake technical decisions with security, scalability, reliability and maintainability in mind.\nMaintain code quality through reviews, automated tests, refactoring and sound engineering practices.\nInvestigate complex issues across PaaS services, shared services and cloud infrastructure.\nCollaborate with other engineering teams.\nCreate and maintain documentation and technical standards.\nWhat you’ll bring\nStrong Python skills and hands-on experience with at least one framework, such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.\nExperience designing REST APIs, including CRUD operations, error handling, data validation and versioning.\nExperience building data persistence layers with PostgreSQL and Redis, including data modelling and migrations.\nEnough Kubernetes experience to deploy, configure and troubleshoot your own service independently.\nConfidence using AI development tools, such as Claude Code or Copilot, as part of your everyday engineering workflow.\nNice to have\nExperience with Go.\nFamiliarity with Linux and cloud environments.\nExperience building distributed solutions for multi-tenant or large-scale systems.\nExperience containerising applications with Docker and building CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of observability practices, including structured logging, metrics and distributed tracing.\nFull-stack engineering experience.\nWhy join CloudFerro?\nWork with purpose.
