In this role, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key feature areas in a product(s), from reviewing upcoming work items to driving them to a successful release.\nAs a Software Development Engineer, you will tackle complex problems within system and architectural boundaries and work closely with customers to validate feature requirements, ensuring the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the company and its customers.\nResponsibilities:\nTake ownership of product features from backlog to support and maintenance \nApply engineering best practices throughout all phases of a project lifecycle, including daily stand-ups, code reviews, source code management, deployment processes, and production code support \nCommunicate effectively with users, engineers, and management to translate requirements into deployable software \nActively participate in engineering meetings and cross-team mentoring activities \nParticipate in an On-Call rotation for production platform support \nNegotiate trade-offs between software quality and time to market \nTravel to support customers in air-gapped environments \nRequired Qualifications:\n6+ months of professional application development experience in a modern software development role \nFamiliarity with full-stack development and basic knowledge of computer science fundamentals like object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms \nExperience in a customer-facing role, providing technical evaluations \nFamiliarity with Agile environments and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps \nBasic understanding of SOLID Principles and programming fundamentals \nExperience with REST APIs and single-page applications \nKnowledge of server (microservice) and monolith architectures \nProficiency in unit and integration testing \nTools/Languages:\nExperience with developing cloud-native applications and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP \nKnowledge of software developer tools like Java, Node.js, .NET, React, and C# \nBasic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker/Kubernetes \nPreferred Qualifications:\nBasic understanding of application instrumentation and monitoring systems \nAwareness of cloud and data storage design patterns \nCloud and DevOps certifications \nA degree in Computer Science or related field \nThe salary range for this role is $65,000 - $112,500 + benefits, & perks.\nPlease note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
