This role requires strategic leadership, financial oversight, and team development across multiple sites.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Management and Leadership\nLead and manage all data center operations in France, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.\nDevelop and execute country-level operational plans, including cost optimization, compliance, and efficiency initiatives.\nBuild and lead high-performing teams across operations, properties, security, and compliance functions.\nCoach, mentor, and develop direct managers, fostering leadership capabilities and succession planning.\nPromote a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all sites.\nRepresent the company in industry forums, regulatory engagements, and with strategic partners.\nOperational Oversight\nEnsure operational excellence across all sites, maintaining uptime, reliability, and adherence to global standards.\nDefine and monitor KPIs and performance metrics for operational efficiency and quality.\nDrive continuous improvement in processes, sustainability, and risk management.\nCollaborate with technical leadership for infrastructure scalability and resilience, without direct technical ownership.\nImplement risk management strategies, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.\nFinancial and Regulatory Management\nManage country-level budgets, including planning, forecasting, and cost control.\nEnsure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.\nLiaise with legal, finance, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.\nSustainability and Innovation\nLead initiatives for energy efficiency and carbon reduction across data center operations.\nExplore and adopt innovative technologies to optimize operational performance and sustainability.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.\nMBA or equivalent preferred.\nRequirements\nExperience\nMinimum of 10 years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing complex, multi-site environments.\nProven experience in data center operations or similar mission-critical infrastructure environments.\nLeadership Skills\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and develop managers.\nStrong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.\nTechnical Expertise\nDeep understanding of data center infrastructure, including: Electrical systems (UPS, generators, PDUs)\n Mechanical systems (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH)\n Network connectivity (fiber, structured cabling)\n\nFamiliarity with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) and BMS (Building Management Systems) tools.\nKnowledge of industry standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ASHRAE, TIA-942, and Uptime Institute Tier Standards.\nAbility to implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.\nUnderstanding of energy efficiency metrics (e.g., PUE) and sustainability best practices.\nOther Skills\nStrong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.\nLanguage\nNative French speaker with fluent English and professional business proficiency.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3941,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":5,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":true},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"French","level":"Proficiency (C2)","optional":false},{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"France","iso":"FR","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Information Technology","Real Estate","Data Centers & Colocation"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T13:45:52Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
