Skills: \n4+ years of hands-on software development experience.\nStrong expertise in Java and object-orientated programming (OOP) principles.\nExtensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.\nExperience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.\nStrong knowledge of REST APIs, API design principles, and backend best practices.\nExperience designing and optimising highly performant and scalable backend systems.\n\nDatabase Expertise: \nStrong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.\nExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.\nStrong understanding of database design, indexing, query optimisation, transactions, and performance tuning.\n\nFrontend Skills: \nWorking knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript.\nUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend application architecture.\nAbility to contribute to UI development and collaborate effectively with frontend engineers.\nAware of tools like Vite, Prettier, ESLint.\n\nEngineering Practices: \nExperience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nStrong understanding of software design patterns and engineering best practices.\nExperience with unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance processes.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving,
