Salesforce Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on expertise in the Salesforce platform, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The role will involve designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions while working closely with cross-functional Agile teams.

We welcome professionals returning to the workforce after a career break or parental leave and support them in their transition back into a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flow Builder.

- Develop and maintain custom objects, Apex triggers, validation rules, automation, and other Salesforce configurations.

- Build reusable and scalable Salesforce components aligned with platform best practices.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications and enterprise systems.

- Analyze and optimize Salesforce solutions for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Support enhancement and customization requirements across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture where required.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, defect resolution, and support for Salesforce applications.

- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.

- Support Salesforce releases and deployments using appropriate deployment tools and metadata management practices.

- Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver sprint commitments and planned enhancements.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

- Collaborate with QA, Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure solution quality and timely delivery.

- Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis and resolution.

- Maintain technical documentation covering customizations, integrations, deployments, and solution changes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6 - 10 years of relevant Salesforce development experience.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Flow Builder.

- Mandatory experience working with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

- Experience with custom objects, Apex triggers, validation rules, automation, and Salesforce configuration.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, governor limits, and development best practices.

- Experience developing and maintaining Salesforce integrations using APIs and integration technologies.

- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools and metadata-based deployment processes.

- Good understanding of the Salesforce SDLC, environment management, testing, and release practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile project-management tools.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
