This role is responsible for the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely statutory financial, regulatory and tax reporting across the Group, with ownership of the UK legal entities and oversight of activities across EMEA, AMER and APAC regions.\nThe role ensures compliance with UK GAAP, local statutory reporting requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations. Working closely with the Group finance team, external service providers, auditors and external tax advisors to drive consistency, governance, and best practice across the Group's statutory reporting framework.\nBeyond ensuring compliance, you will have the opportunity to influence how finance operates globally by driving standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. If you enjoy solving complex challenges, leading through change, and making a visible impact on a growing international business, this role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise, continuous process improvement, and career development.\nYou must already be living in the UK to apply for the role and have full eligibility to work in the UK.\nThe company will not sponsor a work visa for this position.\nMain responsibilities\n\nStatutory Reporting and Compliance:\nLead the annual statutory reporting process for UK and US entities, ensuring audit readiness and the timely resolution of audit queries and findings.\nOversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory filings across EMEA, AMER, and APAC, ensuring all obligations are met accurately and on time.\nReview financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.\nOwn the preparation and review of monthly management accounts for UK entities, delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting.\nEnsure alignment between management reporting, statutory reporting, and Group consolidation requirements across all jurisdictions.\nDrive improvements to reporting processes, controls, and governance frameworks to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.\nSupport tax audits and inspections, partnering with Finance leadership and external advisors where required.\nProvide financial oversight of payroll processes, including the review and approval of payroll prior to disbursement.\nAct as the key Finance contact for other statutory reporting stakeholders.\nRisk Assessment:\nThe role will need to work directly with the Assistant Group Controller to highlight/resolve GAAP and Tax compliance risks/inaccuracies, especially when raised by Auditors or Advisors.\nInvestigate compliance issues, determine root causes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement effective solutions.\nContinuous Improvement:\nDrive standardisation of statutory reporting processes globally.\nSupport finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and identify opportunities for automation.\nContribute to the development and coaching of team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop, maintain, and embed global statutory reporting policies, procedures, and best practices.\nExperience needed for this role\nFinance Qualification with relevant experience in a Finance Managerial role.\nProven track record of managing Statutory and Tax compliance in a complex, multinational organisation.\nKnowledge of UK statutory reporting requirements.
