If you need an accommodation to complete the application process or perform the job duties, please let us know.\nJob Description:\nCloudpoint Geospatial is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to perform and lead the hands-on work behind ArcGIS Utility Network data migration projects. As an Esri Network Management Specialty partner, Cloudpoint helps utilities and local governments migrate their data to the ArcGIS Utility Network and get the most out of their investment in Esri technology. This position will serve as our in-house Utility Network expert: assessing and preparing legacy utility data, configuring and loading the Utility Network, resolving complex data issues, and building repeatable migration workflows that the rest of our Infrastructure & Utilities team can follow. This position will also act as technical lead on migration projects and train and mentor other GIS users on similar workflows. An ideal candidate will have hands-on Utility Network experience and will be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable solving complex data problems, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both coworkers and clients.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nServe as technical lead on Utility Network data migration projects, from data assessment and cleanup through data loading, validation, and go-live\nAssess existing utility data (geometric networks, legacy geodatabases, CAD) and identify gaps, errors, and connectivity issues ahead of migration\nClean and prepare data for migration, including attribute standardization and connectivity corrections\nMap legacy schemas to Esri Utility Network foundation models and asset packages, and configure asset packages to meet client needs\nLoad data into the Utility Network using Esri data loading tools, FME, Python, or other tools as appropriate\nEnable network topology, resolve dirty areas and topology errors, and configure subnetworks, tiers, and trace configurations\nConfigure and test attribute rules, branch versioning, and related editing workflows\nPublish and configure Utility Network services and applications in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and Field Maps\nDevelop and run QA/QC processes to validate migrated data\nDevelop, document, and continually improve standardized migration workflows, scripts, and tools for use across projects\nTrain and mentor team members on Utility Network concepts and data migration workflows\nCoordinate with project managers on technical scope, effort estimates, schedules, and hours for migration projects\nLead technical working sessions with client GIS staff and provide post-migration support as needed\nStay current with changes in Esri technologies, especially new Utility Network releases and tools\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\n5+ years of professional GIS experience, preferably with utility projects\n2+ years of hands-on experience with the ArcGIS Utility Network, including participation in at least one Utility Network data migration\nStrong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and working knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise\nSolid understanding of geodatabase design, data modeling, and network connectivity concepts\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail\nAbility to clearly document technical processes and teach them to others\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with project managers and technical teams\nExcellent communication skills\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience working directly for a utility (water, wastewater, stormwater, telecom, electric, or gas)\nExperience leading multiple Utility Network migrations, including migrating a geometric network to the Utility Network\nPython/ArcPy scripting and/or FME experience\nExperience with enterprise databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)\nExperience training or mentoring other GIS professionals\nArcGIS Utility Network Associate\nSafe Software FME Certified Professional\nWork Context:\nFrequent work operating a computer in an office (or home office) setting. \nFrequently sedentary with occasional fieldwork requiring walking and lifting 20lbs.\nFrequently communicates with coworkers and clients about project work and must be able to clearly exchange accurate
