You must be willing and able to commute to Peoria once weekly.\nJob Description:\nCloudpoint Geospatial is looking for a Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed accurately, on budget, and on time. This position will manage and provide GIS support on a variety of GIS projects for our Local Government and Public Safety teams while working alongside experienced technical GIS professionals. The Project Manager will manage 10 to 20 projects ranging from $15,000 to $125,000 and will follow established procedures to monitor project progress, assign tasks, manage budgets and hours, and identify and report issues to the Vice President of Operations. An ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, adaptable, and client-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams.\nFunctions:\nManage project resources, schedules, budgets, scope, and hours\nMonitor project progress and percent complete to support accurate billing and ensure project profitability\nCoordinate tasks and work with technical GIS professionals to keep projects on schedule\nComplete GIS-related tasks on their own projects and assist on other projects as needed\nAddress clients’ ongoing GIS needs and serve as a primary point of contact for project communication\nIdentify project issues, make appropriate course corrections, and report significant issues to the Vice President of Operations\nManage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining thorough project notes and documentation\nCommunicate regularly with clients and internal teams through email, Trello, Slack, and other project tools\nStay current with changes in Esri technologies and maintain a high-level understanding of GIS concepts\nBuild strong client relationships and support repeat business through professional, responsive project delivery\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university\nExperience managing projects and/or working in a project management environment\nExperience in completing GIS project work utilizing the latest Esri products\nExcellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills\nStrong analytical, organizational, planning, judgment, and decision-making skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and client-facing teams\nProficiency in basic office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software applications\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience working with local government, county government, and/or public safety organizations\nPMP certification\nGIS certificate or related GIS education\nWork Context:\nFrequent work operating a computer in an office (or home office) setting. \nFrequently sedentary with occasional fieldwork requiring walking and lifting 20lbs.\nFrequently communicates with coworkers and clients about project work and must be able to clearly exchange accurate information in these situations. \nBenefits: Health insurance reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, Hybrid work environment, Tuition and training reimbursement, Profit sharing\nCloudpoint Geospatial is an equal opportunity employer.
