This internship is designed as a pathway to a full-time engineering role for candidates who demonstrate strong technical ability, ownership, and the mindset to thrive in a fast-moving environment.\nYou will have the opportunity to work on production-grade infrastructure and contribute to technologies used by enterprises worldwide. Depending on your skills and interests, you may work on CNCF ecosystem projects such as Prometheus, CloudNativePG (CNPG), Kubernetes and others, while collaborating with experienced engineers and interacting directly with customers.\nWhat you will do\nBuild and contribute to cloud native software using Go.\nWork on real-world engineering challenges across Prometheus, Kubernetes, CloudNativePG (Postgres Operator) and the CNCF ecosystem.\nContribute to open source projects and upstream communities where applicable.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and improve distributed systems.\nCollaborate with customers to understand problems and deliver practical solutions.\nTake end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks, from design to implementation and documentation.\nContinuously learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering practices.\nWhat we are looking for\nStrong interest in devops and Cloud Native technologies.\nGood programming skills in Go (or a willingness to become highly proficient in Go).\nSolid understanding of computer science fundamentals, Linux, networking, and distributed systems concepts.\nSelf-disciplined, proactive, and capable of taking ownership without constant supervision.\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nEmpathy and professionalism when working with customers and teammates.\nCuriosity, initiative, and a strong desire to learn by building.\nBonus points\nYour chances of selection will significantly improve if you have:\nPrevious contributions to Open Source projects (GitHub profile, pull requests, issues, or maintainership).\nActive participation in CNCF or other open source communities.\nExperience with Kubernetes, Prometheus, CloudNativePG, or related cloud native technologies.\nPersonal projects demonstrating systems programming, distributed systems, or infrastructure engineering.\nParticipation in programs such as GSoC, LFX Mentorship, or similar initiatives.\nInternship to Full-Time\nThis internship is intended to identify future full-time engineers.
