Skills can develop, but attitude, reliability and how you work with other people are much harder to teach.\nWhat you will be doing\nYou will work closely with our Marketing Executive, Angela, who will manage priorities, provide briefs and approve completed work. You will also receive creative direction from Mike, one of our Directors, when a project needs additional input.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesigning static posts, carousels and campaign content for social media\nEditing short-form videos, interviews, podcasts and social clips\nAdding subtitles, transitions, graphics and branded elements to video content\nProducing brochures, case studies, reports, infographics and other client materials\nDesigning and formatting presentations, proposals and pitch decks\nCreating reusable templates that make future production faster\nApplying different client brand guidelines accurately and consistently\nSourcing and preparing suitable imagery and supporting visual assets\nResizing and adapting work for different platforms and formats\nSupporting occasional website layouts, UI concepts and clickable Figma prototypes\nPreparing organised design files and assets for colleagues and developers\nManaging several briefs and deadlines across different client accounts\nChecking your work carefully before submitting it for approval\nEditing, preparing and publishing podcast content through Riverside\nPreparing and optimising video content for YouTube and social distribution\nYou will mainly work on client projects. Internal work will generally be limited to social content and presentations.\nQualifications\nWhat we need from you\nWe are looking for someone with:\nProfessional experience in a digital, graphic or multidisciplinary design role\nA strong portfolio covering social media and digital design\nConfident Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign\nExperience editing video using After Effects, Premiere Pro or CapCut\nWorking knowledge of Figma\nA good understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy and brand consistency\nExperience working from established brand guidelines\nStrong written and spoken English\nExcellent attention to detail, including spelling, grammar and alignment\nThe ability to understand a brief and ask useful questions when something is unclear\nGood time management and the ability to meet agreed deadlines\nThe confidence to work independently once the direction has been agreed\nA reliable internet connection and suitable remote working environment\nAgency experience would be useful because you will move between different clients and types of work, but it is not essential.\nUseful additional experience\nIt would be an advantage if you already have experience using:\nRiverside for editing, preparing and publishing podcasts\nYouTube for uploading and optimising video content to improve reach and engagement\nClickUp for managing tasks, communicating progress and accurately tracking time\nExperience with these platforms is desirable rather than essential, but you must be comfortable learning new systems and following established processes.\nThe kind of person who will work well with us\nYou do not need to be the finished article, but you do need to be dependable.\nYou will suit this role if you:\nTake pride in producing good work\nWork at a sensible pace without becoming careless\nTake responsibility rather than waiting to be chased\nCommunicate early when you have a question or spot a problem\nCan take direct feedback without becoming defensive\nPay attention to the small details\nWant to improve and broaden your creative skills\nAre comfortable working as part of a close-knit remote team\nBring your own personality, ideas and point of view\nWe are not looking for a senior creative director or someone expected to lead client strategy.
